Dr. Carter has been helping people get back to an active, pain free life since his clinic opened in  2002. As a chiropractor with experience, he is committed to promoting a healthy, active lifestyle for his patients.  Dr. Carter has high standards and terrific family values.  In fact, patients tell him regularly that they feel like they are part of the family and it's nice to have someone who will listen.

Dr. Carter continually strives to learn the latest and best treatments for his patients.  He has been trained in thirteen different techniques, which offers him many options for his patients so that they can be treated as an individual.  This enables Dr. Carter to be able to help all age groups, from tiny babies to patients nearing the century mark. 

Dr. Carter works with each patient and their problems so that they can get back the life they miss.  Some of his patients want just a little help and some want an "Extreme Makeover."

Dr. Carter is the only chiropractor in the Oklahoma City area to have received Advanced Competency in "Whiplash Injury Biomechanics & Brain Traumatology" at the Spine Research Institute of San Diego.  Nearly 3 million whiplash injuries occur every year in the U.S., and almost half of these will experience long-term or permanent pain or disability. Motor vehicle crashes are also the largest cause of brain injury in the U.S. Combined, the two conditions burden society with over $200 billion in cost annually. Because a portion of these cases are litigated, it is also necessary to develop the requisite skills for forensic presentation so that physicians can present factual and objective information about these often very complex issues to other professionals and to lay persons in a cogent and understandable format.

Receptionist

Keri is the first smiling face you will see welcoming you to Family Tree Chiropractic.  She is also the friendly voice you will hear when making your appointments.  Keri is a kind, loving, and thoughtful person.  Her deisre is to help you get in and out of the office flawlessly.  She is a very special part of the Family Tree Chiropractic Team.

   

Massage Therapist

Sherrod has gifted hands that help remove the stressfull, painful knots and tight muscles with little to no pain.  He is well trained and very talented in providing pain relief from muscular strains as well as improving ciruclation and overall well-being.  Sherrod is a full-time team member, but due to his exceptional talent as a massage therapist, his appointments times are limited so make sure you call.

Doctor's Assistant and Insurance

Healther is our full-time doctor's assistant on staff.  She helps with evaluation, x-rays, blood draws, weight loss, therapies and more.  Heather is dedicated to helping our patients get better as quickly as possible.  She also serves as our "Patient Advocate."  This means she works with your insucance company to help you get as much of your care paid for by your insurance company as possible.
